I was so taken by this book. (The first in the set of the Wyoming Range trilogy), that I ended up reading Thunderhead (Son of Flicka) and Green Green Grass of Wyoming as well. I wanted to go to Wyoming and live the life. 🤣 It was the book that set my daydreams on fire.

Originally written in 1941 it was so popular that there was a film in 1943. A TV series in 1956 and a film adaptation in 2006. All of which I shall be searching our modern media for. 😄
